GameSpot made a great comparison between the so called "next-gen" consoles, the Blu-Ray PS3 and the HD-DVD XBox 360, from graphics point of view.
but I think it's too early to judge on the PS3 power now, as developers is still exploring the system capabilities and adjusting there game engines or even making new ones to harness the power of the Cell processor with its 7 SPEs, as it's not easy to write code for the new Cell.
although the XBox 360 is almost a year now, and it shows nice performance and graphics quality, but I think the true system power will appear within the new anticipated Halo 3.
